Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2, 2026
Machine Room Guarding ("MRG," "we," "us") operates machineroomguarding.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, how we use it, and how to reach us about it.

Information we collect

The site has two forms. The quote request form collects your name, company, email address, phone number, project location, and any files you choose to upload, such as drawings or photos. The parts order form collects your name, company, email address, phone number, site location, a required-by date, the part quantities you enter, and any notes you add. We collect this information only when you submit a form.

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records basic technical information, such as IP address and browser type, in standard server logs.

How we use it

We use what you submit for one purpose: responding to your request. That means preparing quotes, confirming and fulfilling parts requests, and answering your questions. When you submit a form, a confirmation copy goes to the email address you provide. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use form submissions for advertising.

How it is shared

Form submissions go to our sales inbox and are stored by the service providers that run our website and email as part of delivering those services. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Where it is processed

We serve customers in the United States and Canada, and information you submit may be stored and processed in either country. Canadian users are protected by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Users in US states with consumer privacy statutes may have additional rights under those laws.

Retention

We keep form submissions and related correspondence only as long as necessary for quoting, order records, and normal business record keeping.

Cookies

The site does not use advertising or marketing cookies. Our forms use a spam-protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile) that may set a cookie strictly to distinguish people from bots.

Your choices

To ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to raise a concern about how it was handled, contact our privacy officer at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The effective date above reflects the current version.
